Pat has a wealth of experience in storytelling, having told at festivals worldwide including Ulster Storytelling Festival, Cultra; Ulster American Folk Park Storytelling Festival; To Shorten the Road, Storytelling Festival, Derry; Festival at the Edge, Shropshire and a host of others throughout Europe and America. He speaks regularly at international conferences on storytelling and developed the ground breaking Kick into Reading football and literacy project with the National Literacy Trust working with football and rugby clubs. His innovative work in schools includes Living Stories of the World with London primary schools; Listen Up! with the Western Education & Library Board/Verbal Arts Centre; Steps to Storytelling with London secondary schools; Cock and Bull Stories and a Picasso Bestiary Museum and schools project with Croydon Clocktower. He has undertaken storytelling residencies in many European venues and has compiled a major academic thesis on the art of storytelling.
