Also 3 performance pieces for adults: Ordinary Woman, Extraordinary Woman,based on the life of Grainne O'Malley. Flaming Brigid, stories of goddess and saint. A River in Time, a journey through the history and mythology of the river Boyne.
Background experience: Janice trained with the International School of Storytelling at Emerson College in Sussex in 2009 and since then has worked professionally in schools, arts centres, churches and with a wide range of community groups including women's groups and the elderly. She was a registered artist for Care UK, using story to facilitate memory work. She has performed at festivals in the UK and Spain. Having worked as a biodynamic gardener for many years, she has wide experience of telling outdoors on farms,in gardens and on story tree walks and enjoys using story to build connection with nature and the environment. She was resident storyteller at 2 community farms in Sussex and has run workshops on environmental storytelling. Now returned to Ireland she looks forward to engaging new audiences.
