Aideen grew up in Co Carlow with a rural background and is now living in Dublin with her family. Her stories range from traditional tales and rural tales, to newly created stories.

Barry has performed at the Boyle Arts Festival, Mohill Storytelling Festival, Portnoo Donegal Festival and San Francisco Folk Concert.

Catherine Brophy was born and reared in Dublin. She trained and practised as a teacher, lecturer and workshop facilitator. She has also travelled the world.

Joe has been telling stories and facilitating workshops full time for over 15 years, having worked in radio and as a teacher previously. He has worked across Ireland and travelled widely bringing the joy of his telling to a wide range of audiences and cultures.

Len is one of Ireland’s best known traditional singers and has appeared at numerous Irish and International Folk, Literary and Storytelling Festivals.

Developing the craft of story-telling is a mission for Máirín and she has conducted workshops in story-telling throughout Ireland, Wales and Denmark.

Órla Mc Govern is a professional Performer, Improviser, Facilitator and Writer based in Galway. As an actor she has performed in major theatres worldwide including Ireland, UK, Europe, Russia and the USA. She has featured in Film, TV and Radio on both sides of the Atlantic.

Pat has a wealth of experience in storytelling, having told at festivals worldwide including Ulster Storytelling Festival, Cultra; Ulster American Folk Park Storytelling Festival; To Shorten the Road, Storytelling Festival, Derry; Festival at the Edge, Shropshire and a host of others throughout Europe and America.

Stephen tells myths, legends and original material. He is known for his version of The Giant’s Causeway Story which he presents in an interactive way to primary, secondary school and special school students

Seosamh is a real Dub – his mother is a Coughlan from Cork and his father was a Lally from Roscommon!

Seosamh spent 17 years, from 1983 to 2000, telling stories in Dublin’s public libraries – in Coolock, Donaghmede and Ballymun.

Steve Lally has worked as both an artist and storyteller throughout Ireland for over fifteen years. He has been involved in many storytelling based projects over the years dealing with a diverse range of subjects

Kate has travelled widely and has taught English, French and Spanish throughout Ireland, Europe and East Africa. As a storyteller she works extensively in the UK and Ireland in schools, libraries and theatres.

Born in Co. Kerry, Paddy O'Brien is a natural storyteller who has appeared at Storytelling festivals all over Ireland. He has been a featured teller on many occasions at the world-famous Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival.

Simone is a German storyteller, writer and teacher based in Dublin. She grew up in a small town in Germany close to the Fairy Tale Road where the Brothers Grimm collected their stories.

Vincent specialises in humorous Irish tales from the fireplaces of Ireland. He will transport you back in time with stories of blacksmiths and journeymen, when preparing for the station or the return of 'yanks' was the social event of the year. Vincent's side-splitting stories will definitely entertain and amuse.

Aron’s style of telling stories is theatrical and big yet immersive and he can adapt to any size of an audience. He will grab the attention of both young and old… but be careful, he might not let it go!

Bernadette’s love of storytelling stems from her childhood in rural Fermanagh in the 1950s when her parents’ house was a popular spot for neighbours on their Céilí.

Clare Muireann Murphy works fulltime as a storyteller, teacher, trainer and consultant. Born in Dublin, Clare has lived in Spain, Galway, America and London.  Now based in Bristol, UK she has performed in more than 20 countries around the world. 

Colum is a world renowned song-writer and singer. He will be known to storytelling enthusiasts from his appearances at festivals such as Cultra, Courtmacsherry, Cape Clear and Scéalta Shamha.

Fra has taught and performed in schools, theatres, libraries, museums, community centres and festivals throughout the five ancient provinces of Ireland as well as at events in Scotland, England, Wales and Slovenia.

Gerry has performed his own one-man show for the past 8 years and can tailor it to most occasions/venues. He has performed in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific Islands and the US – in folk clubs, pubs, theatres and at Irish festivals.

Kate has much experience in schools and libraries and also tells stories for adult groups such as WIs, professional and business women's associations, parent groups and more.

Liz has thirty years of storytelling experience and was the first winner of the International Storybridge Award for “exemplary work in promoting storytelling between Ireland and other countries”.

Nuala has a broad repertoire of folktales, legends and myths, connected mainly but not exclusively with Ireland. She has adapted suitable stories from literature, including stories by Mary Lavin.

Philip has been telling stories and training Irish Tour guides in all aspects of our heritage for many years. He has a great love and respect for the folklore of not only his native Co.Wicklow but for all Ireland.

Senem Donatan Mohan is a storyteller from Turkey living in Ireland. She holds a PhD degree in natural sciences. Besides her science career, Senem worked as a performing artist, director and dramaturgist in many art projects since 1998.

Sorcha has been researching and contemporising mythology with the Bard Summer School for several years, finding multiple versions of ancient stories and synthesizing them into an accessible, coherent whole.

oshio Takahata is Japanese. He studied Irish folklore UCD in 2010. Every summer he comes to Ireland (especially Connacht) to gather local tales .He attends NUI Galway Irish language courses at the International Summer School every summer.
