I have been a professional performer for more than 25 years, working widely as a musician, and in more recent years as a storyteller too.
Drawing inspiration from the Bardic traditions, I use my skills as a musician (harp, clarinet, composition) to enhance my stories. I enjoy exploring the forgotten or overlooked, and I am currently exploring the use of the ancient cruit/lyre in storytelling.
I regularly perform at local events, and have also performed at international storytelling festivals. My work is tailored to suit each audience, often drawing on my research into folklore, mythology, and archaeology.
Years of experience facilitating workshops in schools and healthcare settings has equipped me to work with people of all ages and abilities.
I enjoy encouraging others to explore their skills as communicators, and develop their confidence.
