Aron Hegarty is a Cork actor, writer, spoken word poet, voice-over artist, musician and storyteller based in Dublin. Aron’s style of telling stories is theatrical and big yet immersive and he can adapt to any size of an audience. He will grab the attention of both young and old… but be careful, he might not let it go! Aron is also the co-founder of Candlelit Tales, a storytelling company focused specifically on Irish Mythology with musical accompaniment.

He has loved stories since he was a small child and started Candlelit Tales to bring his skills as an actor and performer to this ancient craft. His screen acting career has gained him credits such as; Resistance, Younger, Vikings, Ripper Street, Game of Thrones, & Rebellion II. While his stage credits range from performing on The Abbey Stage in 2019 for Edna O'Briens The Country Girls to performing in numerous shows for young audiences all over the country, with companies such as Barnstorm, Babaro, Theatre Lovett & Belfast based Replay Theatre Company. Aron's specialty is performing mythic storytelling for young audiences, but he is also a seasoned professional for performing for adults of every age.
