Background / Experience

Thosnaíos ag insint scéalta nuair a bhíos ag obair i leabharlann na Cúlóige i gcathair Bhaile Átha Cliath sna hochtóidí.  I started telling stories when I was working in Coolock library in Dublin city in the eighties.  I have very extensive experience of telling stories to all class groups in primary schools.  I’ve told in secondary schools too.  I am a member of bothe the Writers in Schools scheme, run by the Arts Council, and the Heritage in Schools scheme, run by the Heritage Council.  And I tell stories to adults.  I’ll sing if you’re nice to me.  Is breá liom scéalta a insint as Gaeilge.  I love telling stories in Irish.  I love all languages.  Bhí fear ann fadó agus fadó a bhí agus d’inis sé scéal nó dhó nó trí.
